The Battle of Dormitories (Wednesday 17.05.2017) is an annual event and the part of Olsztyn's Iuvenalia.

These are the competitions for the most athletic student dorm, which are going to take place during Kortowiada 2017.

The organiser of this event is the UWM Student Residence Halls Council in Olsztyn, whereas Fundacja Żak is the founder of the prizes.

The competitions aim to examine your own physical and mental health, improving the overall fitness of the UWM students in Olsztyn, integration and activation of students living in the Student Residence Halls.

The teams consist of five people currently living in Student Residence Halls.

The competitions' disciplines are:

a) Race in wheelbarrows

b) Tug of war

c) Running in pairs with bound legs

d) Race in bags

e) Discipline - surprise for women

e) The Run of Death

The Jury consists of members of the presidium of Student Residence Halls Council - SRHC's President, SRHC's Vicepresident, SRHC’s II Vicepresident, the Secretary of SRHC and SRHC's Spokesman.

The main prizes in the Battle of Dormitories are cups and medals for the first three dormitories in general classification.
