Faculty Parade
Like every year the sequence of faculties was established by the all year long work of faculties within "Faculty War". This year the winner, therefore the leader of the parade, was Economics Faculty.
The parade was well-received by the city residents. Despite the loudness, there was a lot of people on the streets, who gathered to see this one of a kind event. The crowd of students, colourful costumes, faculties' flags - all of this attracts attentions of not only townsfolks, but also the newcomers. What's more, it only happens once a year.
The parade finished at 13:00 at the university stadium. At this time UWM Rector prof. Ryszard Górecki figuratively handed over the rectorial power to President of the Student Government of UWM Paweł Stefanowicz.
